Préface pour piano (1983)
Preamble for piano Or for keyboards
Piece composed from the introduction of the Journal Intime (Diary). Without extravagance, but can appear without shame in a program, can act as link or as material of improvisation, can be cut up in slices, can be played by several, etc. (10 ’)
The interpreters use then the score as material and decide together on its orchestration. The written parts can be played as a kind of homophony and the improvised parts can scatter and become extremely heterophonic.
Otherwise they only have to manage.
When I say keyboards, it means as well piano, synthesizer, marimba, vibraphone, etc.
